    Hi
We are homeschooling our ds13, and he is interested in french and doing ok with what I have presented so far, but I want him to hear more french than is typically spoken in our house smile
I found a few videos so far, but any info on additional ones either oriented towards entertainment or towards learning - learning videos that are not insanely boring would be awesome!

Cartoons, anime, anything like that can be set to be spoken in french (and with eng. subtitles possible) would be of interest.

    Found so far :
Le Petit Nicholas - pretty awesome (in french, eng. sub)
The Class (in french, eng. subtitles)

    thanks for ideas!

My french is pretty limited so I can't tell if there is anything that would be of interest but DS7 loves a lot of the english podcasts we get from CBC so maybe there is some good stuff on the french version -

Note that if you're used to a Parisian accent there might be some differences. I know the Quebecois and Acadian accents sound quite different to me as a novice. I'm not sure how much of the local slang would make it onto a Nationally broadcast show so maybe it isn't a big issue.

"TinTin" was originally produced in French and includes a variety of interesting, though young, adventure stories.

"Astérix'" is pretty wry and entertaining even for adults.

"Bon Cop, Bad Cop" is a hilarious dark comedy with a mix of French and English.

"Mesrine" was an internationally acclaimed film in French about a Canadian crime syndicate that was well produced.
