OP deacongirl Member D Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 948	So, after a poor showing on the CogAt, I just got a permission for further testing for gifted eval. Not sure exactly what they will use, since the highest score she had was 88% and it requires 99% or 96% plus high score on motivation and creativity. Don't have much faith in the motivation and creativity tools--my dd13 who had a subsequent successful skip scored poorly on those. Don't know if the further testing is because the teacher thinks it is warranted, or the principal thinks I really do know my kid, or they just decided to do it to shut me up, lol. I imagine we are still going to be doing private testing but it will be interesting to see some additional data.
