Oh man! The KidBiz thing is so complicated! It demonstrates the problems inherent in relying on these adaptive computer tests for these kids. Both of my kids recently encountered this with a state test that adapts--DD complained because it took her a very long time, and DS came home sort of in a funk because "they gave me a test and it was hard...I don't want to tell you about it." (The teacher told me later that the tester was completely freaked out by him and how high he went.) It does sound like this issue should be fixable, though? Hopefully?
