Does anyone know what the grade level equivalent is for WIAT-III math problem solving subtest score of 119, 90%ile? I didn't get grade level equivalents for the WIAT -II scores (only Woodcocok Johnson ones). I emailed her for them but I was thinking someone here may be able to tell me faster smile For applied problems on the WJ he got a 121 with a 4.4 grade level equivalent so I assume it is similar?

Be careful that you know what grade level equivalent means!

I'm not familiar specifically with the WIAT, but fwiw, "Grade Level Equivalent" for most standardized tests means that if the same set of questions was given to a set of students in grade X, the average score that the students in that grade received would be the same as the score your ds achieved. So for instance, a GLE of 4.4 means that he scored the same as the average score for 4th graders in their 4th month of 4th grade. That doesn't necessarily mean he has mastered the 4th grade curriculum up to that point, only that he's scoring in the same range students at that grade scored.

Hope that makes sense! And... hope it applies to the WIAT - I'm just guessing it does. You might try googling GLE + WIAT.

Oops... I read your question and then read the responses and by that time forgot what the original question was, hence my non-answer lol! Sorry about that smile
