Hello everyone. I am new to the forums and had a question I was hoping someone could help me with. My daughter took the NNAT2 at the end of 2nd grade and received a score that put her at the 99th percentile. She skipped a grade and was 6 (almost 7) when she took the test. Does anyone know if the test is normed for age or grade?

NNAT2 percentile is based on age groups.

NNAT2 is nonverbal and is not as comprehensive as WISC IV or SB IV and some HG (with very high VCI) may not score well with NNAT2. But 99th percentile on NNAT is definitely a HG.

    Congrats!

Thank you Peter for the response.

I just got back her Cogat score for 2nd grade and the school does not give us much information. They said she was 146 verbal and 141 non-verbal out of a max of 150. I asked for more information, but they did not provide it.

Does anyone know anymore information on where these scores may fall in percentile, scaled score, etc?

    Thanks for the help.

Those scores are well above the 95th percentile (pdf link), probably around the 99th.
