The escalating cost of health care has created a new industry called "medical tourism." How much further do college costs have to increase until we hit the price point at which it makes sense to pursue a degree at the University of Costa Rica?
We're getting close to that already. Many of DD's peer cohort is looking at higher ed costs out of the US-- and they are
nearly at parity now.I'm not even talking about backwater institutions. We've price-shopped here and my DD could attend Trinity Dublin or the Sorbonne for roughly the same cost as attending any of the top 6 UC campuses.
