Does anyone know if one is allowed to partial homeschool in NJ? I can't seem to find an answer.

Have you tried calling your state department of education to ask?

The answer probably involves money and what is considered "full time enrollment" at a local school, plus participation in mandatory testing, core coursework, etc.

In my own state, it really isn't allowed officially, though the occasional local district is flexible about it.

East coast, are you anywhere near Philly? There is a drop-off day program for homeschoolers here that happens to be full of some pretty gifted kids. My daughter goes two days per week so it's like part-time school. If you want to know more, pm me.
