Well, I would be tempted to tell them to go to hell or inquire why they haven't helped your DS master those skills! Of course, I wouldn't actually do either of those things. It's been many years since I had to deal with those 2E issues for my oldest, but I would keep refering back to his IEP and his medical diagnoses and necessary accomodations. In my experience, if they hadn't gotten it yet, they probably never will. Of course, you can also remind them that calculators and word processing software are not only allowed, but encouraged in high school.
