If a child has qualifying IQ and achievement test scores for DYS, are they an automatic in (the IQ score is 1 point above cut-off, the achievement test score is 4 points above)? Just wondering if I should be thinking ahead to potentially providing portfolio material or if they'll just take the two scores and he'll be good to go.

My son was one point above on IQ in only one category and he got in without a portfolio. Apply!

Thanks! I hope he makes it without, because he is young so I don't feel like I have a ton of material for a portfolio on hand smile.
