Can anyone explain my son's test score to me?

He took the KABC-II and got the following test score-

    Fluid-Crystallized Index standard score 132 percentile 98.

    Thank you!

The K-ABC is the Kaufman cognitive test. It's a fairly short test, so I don't think it's comparable to the WISC or SB. Fwiw, though, my son got the same score on the Kaufman tests as on the WISC.

Did they give you the full set of scores? Why were you testing?

They were testing him (he is 10 yrs old) for gifted classes... He didn't miss a single question on his FCAT tests and he constantly makes nothing, but 100's on his work...

Did they do the K-TEA as well? That would be helpful in getting proper placement, as its an achievement test. It would show what grade level he at.

Hopefully the gifted classes work it for him!

He has been in the gifted/high achievement class this year and I can say that he is actually having to try now. Before he breezed through with straight A's... They did another test on him at the end of last year and I can't remember what that test was...
