As mentioned in my "sleep issues" post from earlier in the month, my four year old is really interested in the meaning of life and other difficult to answer questions. I came across this website this evening and I thought I would share it. It is not specifically for gifted kids but it looks like something gifted kids might enjoy.

The website is put together by a philosophy prof. from Mount Holyoke College. It contains three sample syllabi for courses in Intro. to Philosophy, Ethics, and Metaphysics and Epistemology.

Thanks KJP this looks interesting. DD will like those Fantastic Mr. Fox discussioin ideas since she's into what makes people choose to steal, fight, lie (or not).

Science is great for explaining how things in the world/universe work but something more is needed for considering why people act the way they do...the most confusing subject for more concrete-thinking folks!
