    Hi - I need some help ... what is the difference between the WISC and WJIII? DS10 had the WISC a few yrs back and now we are having DD8 and DS6 tested.. but they are doing WJIII ???? Confused !

    WISC is an IQ test. Woodcock Johnson (WJ) have both achievement and IQ tests, so I would double check to see which one they will be given. Achievement testing is to see what they already have learned, IQ is more about the ability to learn information (not as straightforward to measure).
