DS and I looked at a preschool today, and I asked a couple of moderately veiled "smart wierdo" questions... becasue this was the first time we didn't get hung up on the whole no-nap + medicalstuff problem. I got the answers I was hoping for, and then at the end, she said something like "from what you're saying, I think XXXXX would be the best fit because..." from which I gathered that she had some clue where I was comming from, and some clue what her goups look like, and actually had a good fit.

Based on demographics, there is some liklihood that they have a higher than average # of smart kids. She also dropped the jargon after the first time I ignored it, which is a good sign wink

Wish us luck wink I REALLY need a preschool for this kid! (see the when to start preschool thread... me's be EXHAUSTED)

    Good luck!!
My LO is wrapping up pre-k this year, and it's been as good a fit as I could hope for with a busy, bright boy! smile

Hope it works out for you. How many hours/days a week is it? I would love to find a good fit preschool for my DS but no luck yet. I know what you mean about being exhausted. Good luck!

    2.5 hrs X 3 days/week

Thanks for the luck, I'm counting on it wink

We went to another one today which was pretty good, and closer, and where they offered us the the 4yo room (DS turns three in a few weeks) room without me saying anything. I liked it less, and I got the impression it won't work well for very long...
