You can ask for an IEP meeting at any time if you think the supports and services need to be changed. Trust me, some parents call several every year. And most schools like to call an IEP meeting early on for a new student anyway.

In my school, we do not give as many accommodations on our state assessments as we used to because of all the changes to our state test. When we moved to an online format, multiple opportunities, extended time for all students on most sections, and taking the test in your usual class, we eliminated most of the need for accommodations.
