I think that this year we had family favorites. Most of the gifts have been shared.

    Family Favorites:
*XBox 360 w/Kinect (Sesame Street, Fruit Ninja, Just Dance 3, Plants vs. Zombies, NHL 12)--we have had a Wii for a few years but loving this game console as well. It's a different experience.
*Qwirkle--Everyone loves this game. DS9 and a friend made up their own game with the tiles this afternoon. They had a lot of fun.
*Angry Birds board game--has kept DD7 and DS5 very busy. Love watching their teamwork.
*RC Helicopters--not sure who is loving it more. My DH or the kids. Love that they are really easy to control. Not loving that they eat batteries and need frequent charging.

    DS9:
*iHome that changes color for his iPod.
    *Nintendo 3DS

    DD7:
*Full size easel with oil paints
    *Kindle

    DS5:
    *Nintendo 3DS

Overall I think that I did pretty well buying gifts this year. Everyone seems really happy and they still haven't even opened everything yet.

    Let's see.

DS8 - 3DS, double roller coaster kinex with motor (already put together yesterday, demolished last night and redesigned this morning again before I woke up), Magic Math box set, R. Riordian (sp?)books

DS5 & DS5 - pirate costume trunk (boy was this an unexpected hit with all Three kids and DH),$1 painting wall-e books, itouches with app card to share, power ranger toy phones that pair well with the pirate costumes hehe.

I found it hilarious that the pirate hat with sword and power ranger phone outranked the itouches the majority of Christmas morning.

My 13-year-old son liked getting Christmas money to buy more really good games at greatly reduced prices on store.steampowered.com. My son loves their holiday sales.

He also liked the Exogear Exolife iPhone case that charges his iPhone battery so he can use it a lot longer before it dies. His adult sister got a new iPhone so they can do facetime when she goes back home to Dallas so he is using his phone more than he used to.

DD3 - princess scooter - she is so proud of herself being a "big girl" to get such a big kid toy

DD8 - zhu-zhu pet and electronic penguin that "sings" and dances.

DH - bike rack for the car - he even went out and put it on before the day was over.

We only had a couple of gifts that there has been no interest in, which isn't bad.

DS4 loves his tuxedo and bow tie, violin, and microphone/stand/amp. smile Instant busker!
He also loves his 'spy kit' that my mom made for him- magnifying glass w/light, binoculars, and 'sneaky shoes'. LOL!

    Can I add another?

DS3 got a plasma car and it is a hit with every single child that has visited us. DD9 and her friend spent an hour doing laps around the house on it this afternoon. They asked if they could get another so they could both play with them in our driveway in the spring. (Oh, and DS loves it to... especially given his dislike of pedals!)
