We are relocating from Oregon to Baltimore and I'm having the toughest time getting information on the public schools in Baltimore city (where we will be living). I believe there is probably a Charter school that will fit my DS, age 16, junior in HS who is at the 99.9% and high anxiety, often underachiever, super sensitive but extremely sweet and well behaved. If anyone has ANY info on the public schools there I would be eternally grateful. I don't really want to go the private school route as I have not found one that truly understands the challenges that go with PG kids. But, I'm also open minded and willing to look into anything at this point.
We also have a DD, 6th grade, bright, just tested so don't know where she is yet....
    Thank you!

There is Thomas Jefferson HS in Alexandria, VA. It pulls in MG and PG kids from the whole area.

    Not sure about Baltimore.

Have you asked the folks at Johns Hopkins CTY for advice? They are local and they definitely "get" gifted kids.
