    OK, just finished reading that Magic Tree House book with the unicorn with my son. Where Annie cuddles with the beast. And now I have to go and scrub my brain with bleach shocked.

    @SiaSL, I'm with you. I dodged the Magic Treehouse bullet with the first two kids. They just never got into them. DS6 is making up for it. It's all he wants to read. Luckily, he doesn't have the patience for the first and last chapters -- too repetitive and boring in his words. He lets me skim and read him the mission. Then we start with wherever the treehouse takes them. Like the Rainbow Fairies from hell, this too will pass.
