Kathy Funke in Gainesville, FL at Psychology You Can Use seems to "get" gifted kids and 2E kids. Don't know if that is close enough to "NE Florida" for you.

Could you pm me her contact info please? We just moved to Gainesville and it may be helpful to have her information for future use. (Especially as we're fighting with DD's school at the moment for accommodations.)

Not sure if you found the info you needed, deacongirl. I took my daughter to David M Feazell, PHD; PSYC in St. Augustine. He works with a psychoeducational consultant, Ruth Dondero, M.A. Let me know if you would like their contact info.
