Thanks so much Grinity!

My son does have adhd so that does seem likely wink And his teachers over the past few years have been mostly a terrible fit for him. K-3 (minus 2nd grade) his teachers told me over and over how frustrating he was (for them to deal with) and how much trouble he caused. We knew at that point that he was some kinda gifted but to be honest I wasn't teh best parent/teacher because I had no idea what being gifted meant or how to proceed with him. His current school/teacher looks like it's a better fit but I guess ti's still too early to tell.

He has some gaps in his math skills and prefers to not learn the method that the teacher is teaching and do things his own way (he's like this with everything) He strongly resists anything I try to teach him and insists that his way is better, easier or that my way is just straight up wrong! He's so fun to do homework with...
