I wish I knew what to recommend. We had ds try the epgy law (5th grade level, iirc) last year, and it was sort of 'meh' for him. I was hoping for something more creative, he has mechanics, etc., down already, so I did not force him to pursue this after more than a few tries (I was more interested in the math for him anyway).
If your child shows an interest or need for that sort of thing, that might be good for them.
Are you signing up separately for each course, or as part of a group (discounted open enrollment) ? We got both law and math through a group.

I have tried him in a community center cartooning course, hoping this would be a good outlet for his story telling and art abilities; at the time it was sort of interesting but not a major 'WOW'...now, however, he is pretty constantly cartooning, either in notebooks or making 'flip notes' animations on his ds (which I think is pretty awesome software).
Anyway, not exactly your point...hope you get a some good ideas, I will be interested to see what folks suggest.
