Glad you added the comment today so I could see your original post -- I've been looking and looking for a teaching type clock and you made me realize to just get over it and make one. All the teaching clocks I could find out there don't actually tell time (ie they are not functional clocks). Just yesterday DS got confused by the second hand so taking it off is a great idea. And the color coordination helpful also... -- Polly
