So we signed up for the Duke TIP, and on the TIP website it says only 5th and 6th graders should take it (but I guess that is if you want the scores used for Duke). Thanks for the C-MITES info--that is prob. the route we will take--I am really just trying to get some indication of where her abilities lie without spending $1500, and I don't want to deprive her of the opportunity for awards in the future if possible.
My first choice would be to accomodate her without the skip, but I imagine situations where she would need it. We have no idea where we will be moving to, but I am advocating for a specific town in the Philly suburbs where I know she would be accomodated appropriately.
