I am very interested in having my dd10 take the Explore test this year as a tool to help get her work that is appropriately challenging at her current Montessori school and also as we anticipate a move in 18 months to get her the correct placement and possible grade acceleration at the new (most likely public) school. She is in a multi-age (4th-6th)classroom so it could be argued that she is a 5th grader, and her birthday is early fall which in some states would be the cut-off for 5th grade. Any advice?
