Perhaps it would be fun to see if she is interested in reading or being read to some vocabulary books ( at the proper level of course )

Some books talk about the Latin and Greek roots of words.

Of maybe she just wants to know the meanings of words she found herself.

What happen when you say:
"I make up a great sentence with that word, and then you try to guess the meaning, ok?"

That might save wear and tear on your brain, yes?
