That is the level of the current questions. 0.84 means 84% through K.
It would be better if your older child did the sessions as it will progress quicker to where he is at that way. Each time you get some wrong it gives more questions at a later point than if you got them all right.
I would say it took my child about 6 sessions to get through all of the K stuff. It took him probably about 13 sessions to get through the 1st grade stuff.
My question would be why didn't it start your child at a higher level to start with? It should have started him at 2nd grade or at least part way through 1st grade if you put he was in 2nd now. My son is 5 and in K so it started him at K lvl, you could always ask the person in charge to put him at a more appropriate level I think. I didn't bother because I figured it gave my son time to learn how EPGY worked.
