I'm cranky about K because they aren't very good with helping the kids who are ahead. So this year we worked with my son a little after school but there was always still more than enough time to play and do after school stuff. Next year with DD not getting out until after 2pm that limits what we can do at home as well as after school activities.
We've been trying since the beginning of the year to get them to do something for my son - still waiting beyond some very simple in class 'challenge' work with all the regular K work and K homework too.
