My DS7 started reading very early and was making great progress until the day he discovered numbers... Math took over his life and ours! Even now at 7, he reads very well but has no interest in it unless it has to do with math or science. Unlike a lot of the kids on here, he thinks fiction for the most part is dumb and saw no point to Harry Potter.
