Renie,
I've been reading Lovecky's 'Different Minds' where she talks a lot about the differences between Gifted+ADHD or ADD and Gifted+AS and it's been very interesting. Apparently there are lots of similarities when it comes to parenting and living with these kids. I seem to be understanding that although kids with ADHD can have all the behaviors of kids with AS, that the key difference is that the kids with ADHD have 'other days' where the behaviors and world view that generates these behaviors aren't an issue. I'd love to know what you think.

I had to look up Applied Behavior Analysis - does this Wiki capture the flavor well?

It's not intuitively obvious to me how ABA might make a kid less rewardable - can you say more about that? We used quite a lot of 'Don't shoot the dog' when DS was young.

Love and More Love,
Grinity
