I would suggest you call her teacher and see if she is aware of this happening at the playground. Has this been occurring in the classroom. At our school there have been sitution were the school psychologist has intervened in a very informal way. They would get a group of kids together for a freinds lunch and try to make the situation better. I have never talked to a parent about this but it sounds so nice.

I think kids need to know it's OK to be different. Everyone is different in some ways. She needs to care more about being true to herself than what others think. This is a process and may take time.
