Just in case if any one of you out there are also looking for quotes that might help with advocating your child's education:
Here are two of our favorite:
1. Miraca Gross: "Exceptional students are surely those for whom their schools should make an exception."
2. John Feldhusen: "...that forcing a highly gifted student to be like an average child is forcing him or her to be abnormal -- or, indeed, subnormal!" (We thought this is a great response to "Just let your child be a normal kid.")
