DS7's class is having a 100th day of school party on Friday. They are supposed to wear something with 100 of something on it and bring 100 of some food item for trail mix. So what am I doing now? Waiting for the paint on one side of his shirt to dry so I can finish this project--I am painting 100 multiplication problems on his shirt, from 1x1 to 100x100.
Yes, I should probably let him paint the shirt instead. However, perfectionist that I am, I couldn't grit my teeth hard enough when he took the paint and started a division problem in the middle of all my nice multiplication problems! Arrrgh! And then he painted 8x9=72, which doesn't fit with the theme. So now we're going to have a shirt with 102 problems on it, 101 of which are multiplication and 100 of which fit the theme. And it's just going to have to be ok, dangit.
