We want to take the kids to Washington DC this spring. I've been looking online at different hotels, but everyone has a great write-up and pictures can be deceiving.

Does anyone have recommendations for a nice, clean, not too expensive hotel in DC?

I think I'm looking forward to this trip more than my kids. I've always wanted to go to the Smithsonian.
