Wish I did. Check your state site under homeschooling. If your looking at it for a potential grade skip I have an idea I'm going to try.

I'm thinking of doing something unusual for my DS in his 3rd grade year to help with a skip. The skipping rules in my district are horrible and wouldn't work for him. So I'm planning on getting around it.

My district won't do partial homeschooling, but I did find where they allow private homeschooling with 180 days of school . So I'm going to do homeschooling during the summer and breaks for "4th grade" while he's taking 3rd grade at the school. That way I won't have to fight with them. I can prove he's done 4th grade and he can then move onto 5th. I'm all about finding the loopholes in their wacky systems! Maybe Texas has a homeschooling rule that you could use for that.

If it's not for skipping, they may have something called homebound that might work.

Good luck and keep us posted smile
