onthegomom- I'll be in the same boat this year. My girls are 19 months apart the 6 yr old is the DYS and I don't plan on testing the 5 yr old til she's 6. from what I understand there are things to do in the area for the non-dys. A planetarium and there is a park nearby that has bowling alley, go carts, mini-golf, and a water park. We're going to keep her busy so I'm hoping it won't be a problem
I guess the real issue would be if the younger one doesn't qualify for DYS next year, yikes I hadn't really thought about that til now.
