I don't know. I was wondering this too. DD has become obsessed with space and dinosaurs this year. She wants to now everything about it, and can tell us all kinds of things. She is flying through puzzles and is easily doing 48 piece ones, and about 3 months ago she discovered mazes and is doing ones for first graders. I swear she eats them like they are candy LOL. I am guess it is how their brains are wired and maybe these tings bring some challange to them?
