Is it ok to type it for my ds6, or should he try to do that on his own. While his reading and narration skills are fabulous, his spelling and writing skills are not comparable. He really wants to do this, and while I'd be happy to help, I want to make sure he gets the most out of it. What do you think?
I think that's a quite common problem among gt children. Do whatever you feel comfortable with. I would suggest doing a combo. Ask him to write one paragraph or even one sentence and then let him dictate the rest. That way he will do a little it of writing on his own but also gets plenty of time when he concentrate on the story only
