Re: inflated scores: Our experience is similar to shellymos's (though scores not quite so high!) - our DS5 scored high on the SB-V when he took it at age 4.1, then scored high on the WJIII too at age 5.

Our psychologist said that if DS took the test again around age 9, we could expect to see the scores drop about 5 points. I would guess that this would be true on all the IQ tests though, not just the SB-V, because there just aren't that many really young kids who can answer all the questions right, whereas once you get older there will be more kids who can answer all the questions right, thus the higher scores will be rarer in older kids. Any test gurus out there with a clarification?
