Alright we'll try with out the prizes the first time & see how that goes!
MON, great idea about taking it in the car, we do frequent road-trips and I didn't even think of that!!
Although I doubt he's have a problem going at the side of the highway.
I'm not too worried about him getting upset about accidents as we've not made a big deal out of him peeing EVERYWHERE :D; but we'll find out as he starts potty training whether that is going to become an issue.
We are going to have to move the potty between his bedroom & the bathroom as we have no upstairs bathroom (another reason we decided on potty over toilet ring in the end).
Were definitely going to have to get a baby-gate for DS's bedroom, as it is he will sit in his bed a night and quietly play with his toes or read a book. I have a feeling there will be many nights he gets up and just goes and quietly plays in his room once he can get out of bed
. Everything in there is 100% baby-proofed (down to all the electrical sockets being behind big pieces of furniture), I foresaw this issue & we screwed everything to the walls!
I am worried about him being able to get his pants on & off, but if he starts potty training at all I've got a pretty powerful steam cleaner (2 dogs, 3 cats...) so I've got no problem letting him run around naked - he likes that better anyway!
