I apologise for MIA for quite awhile. The family moved , once again to another country in Asia. The kids started a new int'l school just yesterday. Elder Dd11 is happy since she loves school.
Ds9 is the hard nut. He was very upset during Orientation when he realised that the younger kids have no A la carte choice of lunch (unlike his sister). His level is only allowed a choice of Western or Asian meal. When one parent asked for the reason, the Head explained that the younger kids couldn't deal with too many choices and would take too long. This was when ds got really upset! He questioned (me) why the younger kids must always lived with fewer choices. He was so mad because he is one who lives to eat. Lunch time is one of the most important "subject" for him at school. LOL! He has been harping on for past 3 days! While I try to be sympathetic, I also tell him that he is beginning to sound like an old man. I wish I could change it (it didn't help when elder dd came back and said the the a la carte chicken was delicious) but I could only explain that this is how the school operates.
Sometimes I wish that I have what it takes to hs him.
