My DS6.5 has only lost two and both after he was already 6. He also didn't get his first one until around his 1st b-day.

On the other hand his cousin who is a few months youngers has already lost 7 or 8. She also had her baby teeth a lot sooner.

I agree with the early in, early out theory in our experience.
