The school is showing wonderful flexibility with the language arts block, every day! Is your son happy with school? That's a huge indicatior. I would try to act calm and confident about the monthly pullout, but whenever they ask your opinion, say that you really think early testing is nessesary to get an idea of what is going on.

To bad about the 2nd grade teacher leaving. I hope the new teacher works out.
