Did I mention that my bottom-line goal for homeschooling is just to do at least as good a job as the school was doing with teaching DS7, since that's the official state-approved level of education? And since he didn't learn anything at all during 1st grade (Literally nothing! Well, at least nothing positive...), that means I've set the bar pretty low! It takes the perfectionism out of homeschooling, which is key. Homeschooling and perfectionism do NOT go together!
I'm glad you at least sound like you're less white-knuckled than you were. That's big progress, regardless of what you do for curriculum!
