I don't know but my child with motor dyspraxia, who at seven was very fidgety and the doctor said people might think he had ADHD, could take a test on visual memory two different days and get very different scores. I know that his visual memory for words has always been very good and he usually remembered how words were spelled once he saw them. But the last time he was tested by the OT she said something about needing to work on his visual memory and suggested Where's Waldo. He had tested lower than he did a few years earlier even though he had recently learned thousands of new words for a spelling bee. There are so many things about my kid that don't make sense to me.
He often apologizes in advance for his less than perfect motor skills and handwriting and even his memory sometimes but he always says he will try. He often does much better than I thought he could possibly do to the point where you might think he has no problems at all. I think he is never sure how well he can do on anything because of what he calls a glitch in his brain.
