The ITBS achievement test offers the CogAT cognitive assessment and the TerraNova achievement test offers the InView as a cognitive assessment. They are extremely similar as best I can tell. My son has had both, the InView in 5th and the CogAT in 7th.

We only received percentiles for each subtest, the total nonverbal, the total verbal and the overall total for the InView. I believe the hard ceiling of 141 is correct and would result from a 99th percentile in every single subtest. My son had a total score of 99th, but did not achieve that high for each subtest. The CSI (Cognitive Skills Index) score for him on the 5th grade test was 135 with a given range of 128-141.
