I did a fairly signficant national search last year for schools that might work for us. I found three public programs that looked promising based on web searches. I thought the Carrollton SD program looked pretty cool from the websites, but we didn't pursue it. But they clearly care and are trying . . . .
Our current school principal told me that at any meeting (NAGC), she has oodles of people asking her about our programs and also has a number of visitors. There are many school districts apparently interested in making HG schools work, but not many seem to be doing it yet.
Anyone with any experience of the Carrollton program? I canceled an interview in Dallas before I went to check it out . . .
