More data is definately better. I get the impression that deccelerating(is that even a word?) is what the schools are concerned about. Meaning you skip a kid up and then at some point the kid is held back.

I would guess this is why schools make it difficult to do. They want to make darn sure a kid won't be put back down a grade later.

Admittedly, that doesn't sound like a real good situation. smile

Perhaps more data convinces the school that scenario is unlikely to happen.
