Hi-
Am not the parent of a GT individual but I was googling the WPPSI and since you seem to have some if not all the answers I was hoping you could help. I had a team on a 4 year old boy this morning whose WPPSI scores had a 19 point difference between verbal/nonverbal. Team is trying to tell me that the nonverbal was so low because the Block design was real low (due to attention and not wanting to be there etc.)(Score was a 7) Is it really possible that one subtest could pull his score that far down. They also said that because the other two scores in the subtest were high (13's) I don't have a problem. Seems to me that a 19 point difference is clinically significant. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help.
