I think I am one of the non-linear parents Josh was "speaking" to in the other post.
However, me thinks we are outnumbered. I believe as a non-linear unconventional thinker I have to make a lot of concessions in order to give my children exposure to systematic thinking, which I think is more typical.
Then they may accept or reject and live accordingly when they are old enough to make that decision.
Your last post reminded me of me and my mother Grinity, with me as your son and you as my mother. Wow that was weird!
