I feel like your thoughts are valid, it is just that you can reconfigure your path, it's never too late to start again. When normal people can start from scratch at their 30s or even 40s, a gifted person like you will be more than capable. You are intelligent, figure out what works best for you, in your favor. And then, start again. Age and neuroplasticity are factors we must consider, but they must not hinder our growth completely. I hope you follow your dreams, without overly thinking it through.
