But testing can really help understand what is going on in a child's head, why she's like she is, and yes, it can definitely help us understand how to parent our children better. The most useful part of testing, for us, has been just this piece. I don't understand DS, fully, and never will...but it helps me feel less frustrated with him (in the main) and more compassionate (usually).

If you are hoping for a better educational experience, I'm not sure any new diagnoses will be helpful. It doesn't sound like your DD will be raising any red flags with the school personnel.
